Can you buy tickets to Paris Fashion Week? Haute Couture 2027, explained

No public tickets are sold for Paris Fashion Week. How invitations really work, what makes the January 2027 Haute Couture season different, and when to plan.

Can you buy tickets to Paris Fashion Week? Haute Couture 2027, explained

The short answer: no. Tickets to Paris Fashion Week shows are not sold to the public. Every runway show and presentation on the official calendar is accessed by invitation, issued by the fashion house itself or its press office. There is no box office, no general admission and no official resale.

Why there are no tickets

The official calendar is coordinated by the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode, but each house decides who sits in its room. Seats go to press, buyers, clients of the house and invited guests. Names are checked at the door against a guest list, often alongside photo ID, so an invitation is personal rather than transferable.

Haute Couture, January 2027

The Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2027 season runs from 25 to 28 January 2027. Couture is the most intimate part of the Paris year: fewer shows, smaller salons and pieces made by hand in the houses' own ateliers. Rooms are often a fraction of the size of a ready-to-wear venue, which makes each seat harder to come by.

That intimacy is precisely what makes it memorable. Guests sit close enough to see the embroidery move, and the atmosphere feels closer to a private salon than a stadium.

Be careful with "ticket" websites

Pages promising to sell Paris Fashion Week tickets usually offer one of three things: unofficial events borrowing the fashion-week name, viewing from outside the venue, or invitations that cannot be used because the name on the list does not match. A legitimate seat always comes with a confirmed name and clear arrival instructions.

How invitation-led access works

Sebienne works with press offices, showrooms and personal contacts built over several seasons. Places are matched to each guest's dates and group size, and confirmed in writing only once they are firm. Access is first come, first served, because houses release a limited number of places each season, and a specific house can never be guaranteed.

A seat can be the whole experience with Show Access, or part of a Half-Day Itinerary or Full-Day Itinerary built around showrooms, ateliers and the addresses that matter that week.

When to plan for January 2027

For couture, enquiring two to three months ahead keeps the most options open. Some places do appear at the last minute, but earlier requests give more choice of days and formats. Flights and hotels are arranged by guests themselves.
