Privacy Policy
Sebienne is a small, personal service. The only personal details held are the ones you choose to send through the enquiry form or by email — nothing more. This page explains, in plain language, what is collected, why, and what you can ask for at any time. It was last updated in September 2026.
What is collected
When you send an enquiry, the form asks for your name, email address, country code and phone number, the dates you have in mind, how many people are travelling, your approximate budget, and anything you write in the message itself. If you write by email instead, only what you include in that email is kept. There are no accounts on this website, no passwords, and no profiles — nobody can “sign up” here.
Why it is collected
Your details are used for one purpose only: to answer your enquiry and, if it goes ahead, to arrange your experience — booking show seats, confirming showroom appointments, and tailoring the itinerary around you. Your information is never sold, rented, or shared with advertisers, and it is not used for automated profiling or decision-making.
Consent
The enquiry form includes a tick box confirming that you agree to your details being used to respond to you. That consent, and the date you gave it, is stored alongside your enquiry. If you have previously asked to hear about news — for example through the former Paris Fashion Experience newsletter — your contact details may be kept on a mailing list with your marketing consent on record. You can withdraw that consent at any time and every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link.
Who sees your details
Your enquiry is read by Jenni, who runs Sebienne, and nobody else. Behind the scenes it passes through the services that make the website and email work — the website hosting, the database, and the email delivery service — all of which process data only on Sebienne’s behalf and under their own strict data-protection terms. If a booking goes ahead, only the details strictly needed (usually a first name) are passed to a maison, showroom, or venue to secure your place.
Cookies
This site uses only essential cookies and small preference settings (for example, remembering your cookie choice). There is no advertising or third-party tracking. See the Cookie Policy for details.
How long details are kept
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you come back for a future season. You can ask for your details to be corrected or deleted at any time — see below.
Your rights
Because Sebienne is based in Paris, the EU’s GDPR applies, wherever in the world you are. You have the right to see the details held about you, to have them corrected or erased, to object to their use, and to receive a copy. Send a request through the contact page and it will be handled promptly. If you are in the EU, you also have the right to complain to your national data-protection authority (in France, the CNIL).
Spam protection
The enquiry form uses invisible, privacy-friendly checks to block automated spam. These checks look at how the form is filled in, not who you are, and no tracking cookies are involved.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. Anything significant will be flagged on the site rather than changed quietly.
